WASTE WATER
CleanFlow has its added value during the treatment of sludge in a sewage plant in the different phases of the process. During the pre-treatment of the sludge, before the digester, CleanFlow is protecting the heat exchanger against fouling, increasing the efficiency of the anaerobic process. The gas output of the digester is increased by the CleanFlow pre-treatment. After the digester, the sludge is thickened by adding polymers.

The CleanFlow treatment has a curing effect on existing deposits, who will be reduced to a level that there is no more negatine influence an the process. This curing effect is a major advantage on the existing technologies. The next process is drying by means of a centrifuge or press. Here the CleanFlow treatment is avoiding the centrifuge from blocking. The rejected water, when protected with CleanFlow will no longer form mineral scaling in the water lines.

At the municipal waste water application in Aachen, CleanFlow treats the sludge before and after the centrifuge. Before the centrifuge, CleanFlow prevents scaling the centrifuge. The rejected water that comes out of the centrifuge, with a high concentration of struvite, is treated again to keep the water lines free from deposits.
